POSITION: Network Operations Manager

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Network, the Network Operations Manager is responsible for leading the company’s efforts in regard to retail facility design and development to ensure brand recognition consistency and compliance for the US retail network. This role is also responsible for overseeing all retailer contract work, new dealer launch activities and retailer database infrastructure.

 

Activities include the coordination of facility design; coordination and tracking of facility projects; retailer contracting and records management; support of retailer launch, buy/sell, and relocation processes. This role is critical in driving modern luxury retail.

 

This position supervises a Retailer Experience specialist and three Facilities Planners. It also supports and coordinates with the regions for retailer agreements and contracts, and new dealer launch processes.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee process to implement and continually improve JLR facility architectural and corporate image designs, and support facility design execution in the field.  Coordinate the Design Review Team (DRT) and administer vendor relationships related to facility design. Collaborate on POS items with the Jaguar and Land Rover marketing teams.
  • Oversee our relationship with SDA and the Global ARCH team to ensure the design/development process is functioning as efficiently and smoothly as possible
  • Oversee retailer facility type, contracts, agreement compliance and informational database tracking by working with key personnel in finance, warranty, sales and service to ensure contents of dealer database accuracy.
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors simultaneously and negotiate annual scope of work and contract terms.  Track vendor cost to ensure they are within forecasted annual budget requirements.
  • Support new retailer launch, buy / sell, termination, and relocation processes, coordinate with retail operations, distribution, finance and service to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Support department special projects, including project management of department and corporate initiatives on a case by case basis.
  • Support setting of strategic network plan with key personnel of Network development and Executive Management.
  • Meet and present to executive management on facility related projects, and facility refresh programs.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance
  • 5 -7 years of experience with automotive retailer operations preferred
  • Direct experience working within sales or aftersales with retailers is preferred
  • Experience with vendor and supplier management
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Retailer relations experience essential
  • Strong knowledge with state franchise laws, with exposure to legal contract and agreements
  • Knowledge and experience in prototype facility design, development, and implementations, and architectural design

 

Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
