POSITION: People & Places Intern

RECRUITMENT SALARY: $18/hour

JLR North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry!  This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated People & Places Intern to join our team. You will:

  • Support People (HR) and Places (Property & Facilities) operations across the employee lifecycle and with initial queries from over 500 employees.
  • Analyze people‑related data to spot patterns, surface insights, and recommend improvements.
  • Help document and refine processes so our team can work more efficiently and consistently.
  • Troubleshoot day‑to‑day challenges with a calm, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Support with projects that help to deliver a great employee experience, across talent acquisition and development, culture and organization.

 Details of the program: 

  • The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or a Graduate Program
  • The Internship runs from June 16, 2025 to May 22, 2026
  • 25-29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Hybrid Schedule available

 

 WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

 

  • The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in a financial/business related academic program for 2025/26 (either a junior, senior, or graduate student)
