RECRUITMENT RANGE:  $140,000 - $175,000

Reporting to the VP of People and Places you will manage and execute key reward projects, research and communication for JLR in USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, ensuring the company’s compensation and benefits policies and procedures are competitive and aligned with local market practice 

 

What you will be doing: 

 

  • Reward Strategy – Developing and managing the reward strategy and overseeing the identification of emerging trends, conducting research, designing and implementing reward programs that support this strategic direction in the US & Canada.

  • Compensation Planning Strategy - Provide strategic leadership and analytical insight to guide the planning, design, implementation, and communication of the company’s compensation programs, ensuring decisions are grounded in data, aligned with business priorities, and optimized for organizational impact.

  • Payroll Advisory & Management - Liaising closely with the People Partners and Global Reward with respect to payroll, international service (ISE) issues, finance approvals and benefit implementations.  

  • Benefits Advisory & Management - Managing annual Benefits renewal process, with particular attention to US Healthcare regulations, ensuring long term cost effective and competitive strategy. 

  • Emerging Trends - Keeping track of developments in the relevant markets and set strategies and policies, with respect to labor law changes, employment tax law and competitor innovations. 

  • Global Mobility – Leading our global mobility strategy for the Americas, regarding policy queries, immigration and travel advice.. Liaise with JLR Global Mobility team and the suppliers of global mobility services to solve complex issues raised. 

  • Job Grading - Conducting job analysis of new roles and organization structures from the business and grade the roles for the region. 

  • Travel & Expenses Management – Managing the current services for travel and expenses for the region and review emerging trends and implement policy adjustments.

  • Retirement Planning - Managing current and legacy Pension and Retirement Savings programs for both US & Canada.

  • Vehicle Program Management - Managing the markets’ car policies with Finance ensuring the policy, lease cost modeling are up to date and cost effective. 

  • Strategic Partnership – Serve as a strategic consultancy partner to Mexico and Brazil on Rewards in the Americas.

  • Overseeing Team Operations - Managing Reward Analyst and Payroll & Benefits Coordinator in North America.

  • Project Management - Managing the project planning and implementation of reward projects.

 

 

What you will need: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related discipline is desirable or equivalent work experience 

  • 10+ year of Experience in Multinational Reward experience in payroll, benefits, reward and global mobility 

  • Understanding of Tax regulations 

  • Job Evaluation approach and systems 

  • Commercial acumen 

  • Project planning and execution 

  • Budget management 

  • Communication & influencing skills 

  • Understanding/working knowledge of business operations 

 

Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days) 

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
