Reporting to the Media Strategy & Planning Manager, Senior Media Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Demand Generation and Brand Building initiatives across Range Rover, Jaguar, Defender, and Discovery. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, execution, and performance, helping deliver integrated, full‑funnel media plans that drive long‑term brand health and near‑term commercial results.
What you will be doing:
- Support the development and activation of holistic, insight‑driven media strategies that move consumers through the full purchase journey—from awareness to consideration, leads, showroom traffic, and sales
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate brand and business objectives into clear media strategies, channel roles, and activation plans
- Leverage global inputs, brand pillars, and business priorities to develop strong local briefs; review media RFPs and partner with agencies to refine recommendations for internal presentation
- Work closely with agency partners to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across upper‑funnel brand initiatives, mid‑funnel demand generation efforts, and lower‑funnel conversion tactics
- Support integrated campaign execution across video (linear, streaming, OLV), digital, social, search, programmatic, direct publisher partnerships, print, and OOOH
- Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and approvals to ensure seamless launches across content partnerships, always‑on programs, and tactical initiatives
- Partner with the Performance team to monitor media performance and collaborate with agencies to optimize against KPIs such as attention, reach, engagement, leads, and conversions
- Leverage audience insights, media trends, and performance learnings to inform future planning and optimization
- Ensure all media activity aligns with brand guidelines while delivering measurable business impact
- Contribute to post‑campaign analysis and insight sharing, clearly articulating what worked, what didn’t, and how to continuously improve
What you will need:
- Strong understanding of the modern media landscape, including video, digital, social, search, and emerging platforms
- Ability to think strategically across the full consumer journey while maintaining strong attention to tactical execution
- Proven organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Data‑driven mindset with comfort interpreting performance metrics, optimization insights, and campaign results
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with confidence working cross‑functionally and with external agency partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred (MBA in Marketing a plus)
- At east 5 years of relevant media experience
- Automotive industry experience preferred; passion for automotive, luxury, or premium brands strongly valued
Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
