WHAT TO EXPECT:
As an experience Maintenance Technician with electrical or mechanical skills (or a combination of both) , you’ll work at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Here, you’ll support production line manufacturing equipment and innovative technologies so they run like clockwork. Whether diagnosing faults or improving performance, you’ll contribute to the growing world of electric cars. If you’re ready to help JLR to continue to advance in this area, this is what to expect.
You will:
• Work as part of the maintenance team to deliver a safe and efficient production performance.
• Ensure equipment uptime. Our manufacturing technologies include automated equipment comprising of robots, automated welding and joining equipment, laser joining systems, automated conveyors, complex tooling, and fixturing and lifting equipment.
• Contribute to equipment and automation projects.
• Be dedicated to maintaining the quality of your work.
• Work shift patterns which come with a generous shift allowance
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• A relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering
• Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of PLC/Electrical Control/Mechanical Systems
