Reporting to the Market President, the Brand Manager – Defender & Jaguar is responsible for executing and optimizing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Canadian market. In close collaboration with the North American and Global House of Brands teams, this role adapts and refines global product strategies to align with local market dynamics and ensure continued brand relevance and performance.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the optimization and implementation of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the local market, working with the North American & Global House of Brands to bring global direction to life
  • Manage the market-specific product roadmap aligning with the North American & Global House of Brands product roadmap
  • Manage the gathering of local market intelligence on product performance and communicate this with the House of Brands team and local market functions
  • Collaborate with other teams within the local market to ensure end-to-end performance for the brand
  • Plan and deliver local product and services releases aligned to the House of Brands requirements
  • Manage and optimize product performance in the market through collaboration with other local market teams
  • Manage market inputs and optimizations to future vehicle programs
  • Champion the market execution of launch plans, aligned to global HoB strategy
  • Responsible for the market-specific product offering for Defender & Jaguar brands e.g. services, charging, experiential
  • Ensure local execution of the brand’s pricing strategy, working with the market sales and finance teams to review and optimize
  • Act as voice of the market and client to the North American & Global House of Brands and COEs to share best practice and knowledge, and to inform global strategies

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate environment; automotive industry experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, team management and strategic thinking
  • Product and brand knowledge

Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
