OPPORTUNITY
This role will provide a support for the MP&L team ensuring the system data integrity is permanently maintained and kept on a high level in the area of engineering part changes, new model year launches, perpetual inventory and material master data.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Ensuring system data integrity is permanently maintained and kept on high level
• Approving or Rejecting concerns within WERS on behalf of MP&L against agreed MP&L checklist.
• Support all running change and Model year change for a specified car line and all associated processes and meetings such as Change Management meeting, Manage the change meeting, Change implementation meeting, Run-out meeting.
• Communicating part number changes and associated timings to the rest of the business.
• Support Run out of model year programmes and status reporting.
• Dating and managing of the engineering changes (running changes & model year changes) in SAP environment ensuring right timing of changes is in place for the prebuild production phases (prototypes) and series production (running changes).
• Ensuring timing issues (for example obsolescence) are covered before concern release.
• Responsible for minimising of the run out and obsolete stock
• Perpetual (Physical) inventory cycle counts via managing and planning based on the defined rules
• Assist in the development of cost submissions for programmes and projects
• Support and assist in the use of Bill of Material tools to develop solutions
• Report key data for the area and present reports
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
WHAT YOU´LL NEED
• Relevant previous experience in the prefered areas ensuring the data integrity is kept on high level – maintaining BOM changes through engineering change control management , inventory cycle counts management , master data maintaince
• Good analytical skills and statistical ability
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
• English language – fluent
• Understanding of Change Control, Programme launch and Inventory Processes
• Experience or knowledge of project management and process improvement
• Communicate well at all levels both verbally and in writing establishing good working relationships.
• Previous Experience in automotive industry
• Experience with SAP - preferred modules - ECC, APO, eWM
