THE OPPORTUNITY
Manufacturing Engineering – Trim and Final Facilities are responsible for the Development and introduction of new and modified facilities associated with new model introductions and model year changes. This also includes the development of installation timing plans, Latest Indicated Cost Status and appropriate H&S plans.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Apply Manufacturing Engineering procedures, documentation, and Health & Safety standards, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Drive Design for Assembly principles and ensure compliance with Product Creation and Delivery System (PCDS).
• Lead and support product launches at assembly plants, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to QMS/EMS deliverables.
• Manage projects effectively, including financial control, procurement, and supplier coordination.
• Utilize problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, 8D, 5Y, FMEA) to prevent and resolve technical issues.
• Proficient use of engineering tools and systems (AIMs, AutoCAD, Vis Mockup/TCe, SAP, MS Office).
• Prepare and deliver presentations at programme meetings; communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Foster collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement within the team; coach and develop technical skills.
• Influence process improvements, lead change initiatives, and ensure decisions align with business objectives.
WHAT YOU´LL NEED
• Significant experience in Manufacturing Engineering processes, tools, and techniques, including consistent delivery of productivity targets
• Strong application of problem-solving methodologies and logical approaches to complex issues
• Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety audits, ergonomics, and risk assessments
• Proficient in PFMEA, Control Plan, and Design for Assembly principles
• High level of computer literacy; ability to use engineering and program tools
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and deliver key objectives
• Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
• Experience in launch environments and new model introduction
• Knowledge of CAD tools, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
• Willing to travel
• Slovak language required
• Proven project management capability
