THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is responsible for leading part of the launch activities in our Nitra plant. The main goal is to work with many different business teams to make sure our product launches are smooth, on time, within budget, and meet all quality and customer satisfaction targets.
The right candidate for this important role needs strong leadership skills and the ability to bring different teams together. Good communication and people skills are essential.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Manage and resolve all product quality issues adequately through the Advanced Issues Management system (AIMS), IQM or Jira
- Track and resolve Quality performance during each build phase via scorecard and actively drive the teams to achieve targets
- Assist and support cross functional launch teams to resolve any outstanding issues using robust audit and problem-solving techniques
- Leading launch team with initiatives that deliver the Launch product
- Coordination of training delivered to all production associates
- Transfer of knowledge to production team on product, processes and facilities
- Product Structure and its associated scorecard metrics (KPIs)
- Governance of Plant Launch KPIs for compliance (IATF, UTAC, Departmental Scorecard, RMP/DRIM, Internal Audits)
- Participate on Plant Launch headcount and budget
WHAT YOU´LL NEED
- Relevant previous experience of Launch/ Quality / Problem solving
- Experience of Quality Operating Systems including Launch Quality Operating Systems
- Understanding of vehicle programme quality and health and safety processes & procedures
- Can manage and resolve a wide range of complex problems using problem solving tools
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure when necessary to deliver key objectives
- Candidates must demonstrate drive, initiative and strong analytical skills, accuracy in reports
- Able to form strong working relationships with internal and external parties
- English speaking and a good understanding of written and spoken English
- Ability to work off site at alternative locations, including overseas
- Strong interpersonal and organisation skills
