Operational Leader
Grade D, local Nitra
Salary: From 1834 eur monthly, 13th salary, 0-15% yearly bonus, other benefits according JLR rules
OPPORTUNITY
Operations leader will manage the daily work of the logistic provider in the plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and evaluate the daily operations of the logistic provider team.
- Develop and implement policies for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability
- Address and resolve all issues concerning field office operations
- Develop and implement best practices and procedures to enhance business growth
- Monitor key metrics and develop action plans for improving company profits
- Motivate and reward high performing employees by recommending salary increase, bonuses or promotions
- Oversee the preparation, allocation and management of operations budget to ensure target achievement
- Develop and introduce new proposals and technology to enhance business productivity
- Collaborate with functional units of an organization to integrate new or existing services
- Manage services provided by a company to ensure they meet client expectations and requirements
- Build and maintain positive trust relationship within external and internal customers
- Ensure company operations comply with all local and federal labor laws and legislations
- Liaise with the finance team to determine the need for salary increment, allowances or bonuses
- Creating and implementation of field tools to enhance operational effectiveness
- Ensure company operations are completed in a timely and effective manner
CANDIDATE
Essential:
- Min. 3 years of experience in Production Control in Automotive OEM
- Good knowledge of manufacturing and logistics processes
- Advanced knowledge of OEM Plant processes and standards in Production Control.
- Ideally experienced in using, Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- General knowledge of vehicle manufacturing, manufacturing engineering and industry standards
- Good knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Logistics
- To demonstrate strong numerical, analytical skills and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and with cross functional team. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and to strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, applying common processes and standards. Task orientation. Self-starter attitude and a continuous improvement mind set.
- Good time management skills with the ability to set goals / priorities are required.
- Data driven and able to interpret interrogate and analyse data for problem resolution.
- To make correct decisions quickly, sometimes in demanding situations.
- Must be systems literate and demonstrate analytical skills including knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience in Excel including data manipulation and presentation.
- Attention to detail essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. To have effective communication skills, be able to work as part of a small team and also develop cross-functional contacts. Be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Desirable:
- Advanced knowledge on production/operation related topics and interfaces to logistics and material handling
- Evidence of effective business behaviours as outlined in the High Performance Behavioural Framework
- Knowledge of Press Shop, Paint & Trim line operations would be an advantage (for co-ordination of shipping activities)
- Experience of Vehicle Scheduling and Production Control systems and processes is highly desirable.
- MFG IT Application knowledge: ERP, WMS, SAP APO, MES
