PVT Engineer

Salary:  From 2060 eur monthly, 0-15% yearly bonus, other benefits according JLR rule

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the PVT DP Manager, as a Integration Engineer you will need to represent the Integration team and support both pre-production, production builds and manufacturing across all JLR manufacturing sites in the UK and Europe.

The role will drive activities for delivering the targets set by Product Engineering for Electrical Quality in our drive to achieve world class performance levels. The team operate in an exciting and dynamic environment providing the interface between the core engineering teams and manufacturing.

  • Current and Launch issues resolution
  • Investigation of SW issues
  • Liaison Engineer (acts as a critical technical bridge between engineering design teams and manufacturing)  

 

 

WHAT YOU´LL NEED 

  • Broad experience and understanding of Electrical systems and Architecture including Software (inc. Cybersecurity), Networks, Diagnostics, Hardware & EDS
  • An understanding of manufacturing (Build and Off-track) processes including VCATS (inc. EOL/Rigs/WAHA)
  • Planning and co-ordinating pre-build software test and validation including the ability to analyse test results as well as track, report & escalate issues identified accordingly
  • Proven ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments as well as having the ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
  • Drive and motivation to achieve goals of team and self with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to travel and work from Nitra JLR manufacturing sites including travel to UK,Europe JLR sites and other locations/places when required
  • Clean full driving licence
  • English level : B2 (can communicate with reasonable fluency and spontaneity with native speakers)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Knowledge and ability to use JLR diagnostic tools (i.e., Corvus, CANalyzer, Snapshot tool, Prodis insight,  Prodis control) to analyse vehicle diagnostic data
