THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing customer satisfaction by ensuring vehicles are free from abnormal noises (S&R) and water leaks. Your key responsibilities include gathering and analysing facts to clearly define problems, and applying strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive effective resolution using 8D and other industry‑standard quality tools. The team manages issues originating internally—through Manufacturing, Fleet, Durability, and Robustness testing—as well as externally through Warranty data and IQS surveys.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Conduct complete vehicle testing, including Hydro Pulse evaluations and both objective and subjective assessments on test tracks and public roads, as required
• Agree test plans, set clear objectives, and deliver results
• Create accurate problem definitions and initiate 8D projects with the appropriate teams when issues are identified
• Demonstrate strong analytical capability by gathering data, conducting deep dive analysis, supporting root cause identification, and validating containment actions
• Lead issue resolution from detection to problem definition, ensuring timely and robust closure via AIMS or Projects
• Collaborate closely with UK and international manufacturing plants to prevent issue outflow at source
• Engage with component engineers and suppliers to drive implementation and resolution of engineering solutions

• Perform additional tasks as directed by your line manager in support of company priorities
• Be prepared for occasional evening, weekend, and travel commitments, including visits to other Jaguar Land Rover or supplier sites..
• You must be able to successfully complete a Level 3 driving qualification and meet the medical requirements for working in a Climatic Chamber.
WHAT YOU´LL NEED
• Automotive/Engineering degree or equivalent automotive experience preferred
• Ability to lead and resolve complex issues through leading cross functional teams
• Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Demonstable problem solving experience with hands on approach
• Good experience of quality tools (8D, Fish bone, FTA, PDCA, 5Y etc)
• Demonstrate good negotiation skills to promote issues to next phase of investigation
• A proactive and personable nature to engage with cross functional areas.
• Microsoft package elements such Power Point and Excel to a intermediate level
• Knowledge and understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
• Ability to deliver presentations to work groups and senior management
• A driving licence
• English language on advanced level
• Slovak language required written and spoken
