As a Senior Cloud Architect at JLR, you’ll take the lead in defining and delivering cloud-native platforms that support advanced engineering and automated testing. You’ll work with pioneering products and technologies, from AI-led testing to connected vehicle systems, helping to push boundaries and do things differently. WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll play a central role in shaping a state-of-the-art cloud platform used across engineering teams. With ownership of architecture and the freedom to innovate, you’ll help create reliable, scalable environments that enable high-quality product development. Here’s what to expect:
- Defining and evolving cloud architecture across AWS and GCP, ensuring scalable, secure and high-performing platforms
- Building and maintaining cloud-native environments that support automated testing and modern development workflows
- Collaborating with engineering, validation and product teams to deliver robust testing frameworks and data-driven solutions
- Driving adoption of cloud-native testing patterns, improving speed, quality and release confidence
- Diagnosing and resolving complex platform and infrastructure issues across systems and environments
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:
- Strong experience designing and delivering cloud solutions across AWS and GCP environments
- Proven capability in Python or JavaScript development and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Knowledge of CI CD pipelines, containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and lead across technical teams
