This Bill of Material (BoM) Analyst role is an opportunity to support a ‘right first-time’ manufacture of vehicles and propulsion systems within JLR by ensuring the bill of material data in our IT systems is accurate and audited on an ongoing basis.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

This opportunity sits within JLR’s Supply Chain Planning function and can expect to be responsible for:

 

  • Ensuring the bill of material for your vehicle(s) and propulsion system(s) fully supports parts supply and manufacture
  • The use of multiple IT systems, maintaining data rule sets to help early identification of potential errors
  • Ivestigate potential root causes and initiate data / process corrective actions (ensure all errors are corrected without having an adverse impact on parts supply or manufacture)
  • Identify and implement containment actions where appropriate to maintain business continuity 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills you'll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

 

  • Experience as a Bill of Materials Analyst (ideally within the Automotive or Manufacturing sectors) 
  • Experience working with multiple data systems along with working with complex data sets
  • You’ll be used to adopting an investigative approach to resolving data and process issues 
  • You’ll have a collaborate and engaging style; excellent attention to detail and a logical and structured approach
