This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Plant MP&L team. Through our Linefeed Logistics we manage the flow of parts from material scheduling to delivery to line.
Plant MP&L is a challenging, lively, fast-paced, and dynamic environment to work in. Our key focuses are driving flexible solutions and approaches to changing business needs, driving our suppliers and LLP to deliver resilient part supply to line, creating, managing, and delivering complex site flow solutions and driving accuracy of data on our systems. Reporting and communication are huge part of MP&L from financial to build schedules to an individual part supply.
We are constantly looking to improve and adapt to drive efficiencies and improvements across our logistics solutions to support the needs and requirements of manufacturing and Solihull site goals. Our Material flow team is an ideal opportunity to use the skills and experience you already have to support our focus of driving cross functional collaboration to deliver the business outcomes.
WHAT TO EXPECT

- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Logistics Transformation Strategy for all material planning, flow, and logistics operations at JLR Solihull.
- Assist in specifying, piloting, and deploying best‑in‑class logistics systems and technologies in collaboration with GME and wider stakeholders.
- Conduct benchmarking research to identify improvement opportunities and support the adoption of industry best practices.
- Leverage data insights and flow analysis to drive efficiency workstreams and optimise logistics performance.
- Deliver logistics projects using structured project‑management techniques to ensure planned outcomes are achieved in line with strategic objectives.
- Maintain, track, and report MP&L deliverables and milestones, ensuring all targets are met on time and to programme expectations.
- Support cross‑functional alignment to ensure logistics solutions are robust, scalable, and fully integrated into wider operational and programme requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
