The main purpose of the role is to provide maintenance engineer support to a local maintenance operational team at FA2 Operations. This role will also support the team in adhering to standards and processes, roles and responsibilities, ensuring the highest delivery standards are achieved. The individual will also be required to lead problem solving, delivering root cause, to ensure sustained improvements in business performance.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Maintenance Engineering team, you’ll be:
• Assist your maintenance team in the recovery of complex breakdowns, acting as the lead between your team and supervision/technical services.
• Coordination of scheduled maintenance, break down response, lean improvements and permanent fixes while concentrating focus on bottlenecks.
• Prioritise work dependent on bottlenecks, maintenance windows (breaks, weekends, shutdowns) and ensure concurrent activity during equipment operation.
• Analyse performance data and create plans to improve facility high hurts through effective root cause analysis
• Complete and document Preventive Maintenance inspections on assigned line as assigned by the maintenance leadership team. Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment/systems design
• Maintain a good working relationship with associates on all shifts within all departments, while supporting plant and departmental goals and vision
• Coach associates in area of responsibility on operations and technical understanding of equipment
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills you'll need to have to help you succeed here, including:
• Previous experience within an ASRS facility (Automatic storage and retrieval system)
• Ability to work independently and proactively, taking full ownership and responsibility for own work; fully invested in achieving a successful result
• The ability to climb and work at height on cranes within a harness (20 meters +)
• You view things as a team rather than individual project level, considering the wider team needs
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills, including ability to manage/lead/support xxx relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
• Roller beds, Drop Sections & Conveyor systems
