JOB TITLE: Payroll Specialist
SALARY: £25,200 - £30,000
LOCATION: Solihull

Providing support to the payroll department to ensure compliance in HMRC and audit controls, working collaboratively with the team to support ResourceLink processes. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, responsible for compliance of UK legislation and JLR policies.


As the Payroll Compliance Administrator, you’ll be responsible for:

· To assist in producing documented procedures for all payroll activities.

· Have a thorough understanding of all aspects of payroll from start to finish.

· Keep up to date with current and future legislation.

· Understand and be able to process P11d when applicable.

· Experience and understanding of ’ Benefit in Kind’

· Support in identifying improvements and changes to payroll.

· Understand and be able to process ‘P46 Car' when applicable.

· Support in the administering and reviewing Invoicing ad shopping cart process

· Deliver accurate and compliant payroll processing for a variety of complex terms, conditions and shift patterns.

· Support with audit requirements to ensure compliance of JLR security

· Excellent customer service and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

· Support in the administering and reviewing Invoicing ad shopping cart process

· Raising support tickets with Zellis for Resource Link

· Support relevant BAU Payroll project activities, when required

· As part of the payroll system administration team, provide support to the team, monitoring the system administration mailbox and deal with any queries that arise.

· Support and participate in the Payroll Alignment Strategy and complete set Goals and Objectives.




· 2 years’ experience of working in a large multi-site Payroll Department.
· Excellent organisation and communication skills.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Strong experience in excel.
· Ability to work as a ‘Team Player’.


· Working towards a Payroll qualification would be an advantage.
· Knowledge of Resource Link would be an advantage.
· Experience of working in a SOX environment
