Join a team shaping the future of manufacturing excellence through Agile delivery and new vehicle launches. As a Technical Coach, you’ll play a key role in ensuring plant readiness, solving complex challenges and helping deliver world-class products from programme start through to launch.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is an opportunity to be at the heart of JLR's Plant Launch team, working on some of the most exciting new vehicle programmes in our portfolio. You'll collaborate with experts across manufacturing, quality and engineering, helping to deliver a flawless launch while crafting your skills in a fast-paced environment where innovation and continuous improvement matter.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the planning, control and delivery of new model launch activities from programme start through to Job 1 +90 days
- Participating in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, big room planning and showcase events while promoting collaborative ways of working
- Managing and tracking issues through JIRA and other business systems, ensuring risks and obstacles are identified and resolved effectively
- Analysing launch and quality performance data, producing reports and supporting teams to achieve key operational targets
- Supporting prototype builds, production readiness activities and cross-site launch events to help deliver exceptional outcomes
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills and experiences you'll need to help you succeed here, including:
- A Level 3 qualification, Apprenticeship, Craftsman Certificate, National Diploma, NVQ or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience within manufacturing, quality or launch environments, with knowledge of Agile ways of working being advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capability, supported by confident use of data and reporting tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience of JIRA, Confluence, Tableau or similar systems being beneficial
