As part of this brand led turnaround, we are seeking a passionate and driven Project Manager who can be part of a team focused on bringing discipline and governance to a multi-faceted programme but with a nimble and agile mindset.


KEY ACCOUNTABILTIIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Support workstreams by applying project management methodologies and techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned products, outcomes and strategic business objectives:
 

  • Governance and Risk Management - Co-ordinate required governance/cadence, risks management, change and configuration management, information management and reporting for the workstreams
  • Information management and reporting - Compile management reports and report on key programme metrics as defined by the business
  • Change Control - Ensure proposed changes are right for the programme and communicate changes to affected stakeholders
  • Agile - Provide guidance, advice and coaching to the workstreams on programme management methodologies, tools and techniques with an Agile focus
  • Project Quality Management - Continuously improve programme management processes and best practices across the workstreams and within the Programme Management Office

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential:

  • Experience in a complex / cross-functional project or programme management role
  • Experience operating in Agile environment and using a range of delivery techniques
  • Proficient communication and influencing skills, able to demonstrate senior level stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of business and commercial needs

 

Desirable:

  • Schedule management skills including critical path analysis, network planning methods and principles
  • Understanding of contractual timing and financial impacts associated with commercial deals / legal requirements
  • Experience of working within a structured governance framework
  • A recognised professional qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2)
  • Experience of working with Project Management tracking software e.g. JIRA

  • An individual who has commercial acumen to understand the financial impact of business decisions and timing implications
