What To Expect

 

This is an exciting position for an SVO Attributes Integration Engineer with a background in a customer focused vehicle attributes role. The SVO Attributes Engineer will have exposure to cutting edge automotive technology, while interfacing with key stakeholders including the technical and marketing team to develop strategy and delivery.

This individual will be in a position to enhance the customer experience through the design, development, measurement and balance of customer attributes for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Be able to co-ordinate the SVO and Core Attribute teams to set and ensure target compatibility with programme content across multiple SVO vehicle programmes.

  • Positively support the creation of Attribute targets through PALS, Benchmarking and SOI then tracking delivery through Panel Chart management.

  • Support competitor and comparator Attribute benchmarking and futuring.

  • Confidently communicate results of physical / virtual testing, measurement and visual assessments as required.

  • You must be able to co-ordinate benchmark vehicle requests, hires or purchases with competitor vehicles.

  • Plan and co-ordinate benchmarking vehicle activities as required.

  • Support SOI creation and co-ordination with the Vehicle Integrity Team.

 

What You Will Need

 

Essential:

 

  • Previous experience of problem-solving tools e.g. Root Cause Analysis, 8 Disciplines of problem solving.

  • Experience in working with customer facing attribute delivery.

  • Previous experience of developing and defining strategy while coordinating across various departments.

  • The ability to manage complex technical issues is essential to balance the often-conflicting needs of the business, within project timing constraints.

  • Able to demonstrate strong technical wherewithal in order to communicate effectively with engineers.

 

Desirable:

 

  • Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross functional experience.

  • Knowledge of Quality Operating Standards in Manufacturing.

  • Experience of vehicle engineering desirable.

  • Intimate whole vehicle knowledge – with clear understanding of all COC’s systems and how they integrate with each other.
