WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We are currently hiring for the position of a Calibration Engineer to join our ever expanding Integration team here at JLR. This role ensures that the latest Propulsion software is fully robust before release to production and prototype manufacturing plants. It supports the verification and delivery of integrated software components into vehicle programmes, with particular focus on component diagnostic capability and compatibility with the manufacturing process.  

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Lead issue investigations and clear communications for Propulsion Controls with the Jaguar Land Rover Manufacturing plants.

  • Develop new and improved end of line tests to capture issues in build where they can be rectified.

  • Support the development of processes and tools to design in robustness to the Propulsion control system, including its diagnostics.

  • Support the development of capable and efficient simulation and verification processes to find faults and improvements earlier in development.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

In order to be considered for this position, you must have experience working within Calibration Support, as well as a background in Testing. An automotive background will also be required due to the nature of the job requirements and expectations.

 

  • Experience using INCA (ETAS) Software

  • Experience working within a testing/controls environment

  • Technical Knowledge of Powertrain and Propulsion Systems
