The Digital Assets Group (DAG) forms part of the Brand Operations area within the aguar Land Rover Customer Experience Commercial function. It is the centre of excellence for the creation of external customer facing CGI assets and digital media, operating on-site at Jaguar Land Rover UK. The team is responsible for the creation and delivery of 3d Model data and CGI still imagery required by Commercial to support customer communications material.

This role works as part of the Digital Assets Model Production team to generate high quality fully configurable 3D visualisation models, representative of Jaguar Land Rover products to support a variety of internal and external customer facing CGI content creation use cases, all produced and compliant with Digital Assets technical processes and standards. The primary focus is successful delivery of modelled content to cater for Commercial, Marketing Sales and Services and cross-functional customer facing use cases.

Key features of the role include 3D scene management, 3D topology modelling, UV implementation, material/shader application, sculpting and reference material management.

There will be scope to maintain and adapt internal processes to improve efficiency and quality of models delivered by the department.




You will be accountable for collaborating with the Production Supervisor on production scheduling and delivery timings and you’ll support the production sub-team with detailed knowledge of Digital Assets Model Production Standards and Processes as well as have a technical understanding of CGI modelling techniques and utilisation of associated software packages. You will consume build inputs to generate imagery content according to Digital Assets Standards and utilise Product Data Model Build Specification documents to ensure the completed scope of work is actioned and tracked accordingly. It will be your responsibility to capture any issues discovered with relation the production inputs and communicate to Supplier Production Supervisor via appropriate escalation routes / meetings / documents. You will be accountable and ensure optimal quality of own work produced, as well as constructively critique modelled content created by others in the production team and identify areas to develop of Digital Assets processes and standards through continuous improvement in collaboration with the Digital Assets Model Production team.




To be considered for this position, you will require extensive experience in Automotive CGI production and be an expert in Autodesk Maya (or equivalent) and Adobe Creative Suite. You’ll be an expert in data / file management, scene structuring, and configuration and you’ll have experience in working to defined processes and technical standards (pipeline). You’ll have solid knowledge of MS Office365 – Excel in particular


  • Previous experience working with / for Automotive OEMs
  • Experience working with games engine software and technology as part of a production activity (games industry or similar)
  • Good Knowledge of Python and MEL Script
  • Experience using Foundry Nuke
