Here at Jaguar Land Rover, we have an opportunity for an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Feature Engineer to act as part of our Electrified Propulsion Systems, Calibration and Controls team within Powertrain. This will give you the opportunity to lead on the design and delivery of functionality controlling the electrified propulsion system, specifically the charging system feature development. 

You’ll have the chance to working with the voice of the customer teams, Human Factors, Charging Systems team, and internal software developers to define feature enhancements on the charging system to support a premium experience for our valued customers.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


  • Ownership and leadership of the EV charging features
  • Development and approval of new feature content
  • Interaction and integration with wider organisation for feature integration
  • Development of use cases / activity diagrams to support feature design




  • Experience in electrified powertrains or distributed control systems
  • A background in customer focused feature design or testing
  • Proven programme delivery experience
  • User experience design
  • An ability to build strong, valuable relationships at all levels of the business
  • A resilience that will help you work with demanding programme and business constraints
  • It would be highly desirable if you are an EV driver (not essential)
