A key objective of the Jaguar Landrover Special Vehicle Operations  organisation is to expand the range of well executed, high revenue product and feature deployed either on-line or off-line at each of the Production Assembly Plants or through the Dealer Channel.


To support this objective there is a requirement to appoint a Programme and Launch planner to work with the existing SVO Programme Teams, Product development and Production Operations teams to improve the execution and delivery robustness of new product through the launch phase.


•    Provide support interface between the SVO Engineering / Programme Management teams, and the New Model Programmes (NMP) and Production 


•    PDL Authorship – Knowledge of Jaguar landrover PDL system advantageous 


•    Future MY VPP Management. 


•    Develop and maintain vehicle specific BoM, Facilitate SVO Change through Core FCIM team participation. 


•    Assist the delivery of credible cross functional launch plans that meet the requirements of the markets and are fully integrated into the production operations site strategies. 


•    Aid SVO Problem Resolution, Change Management and Product Integrity, processes to ensure that all changes are implemented robustly and support programme quality, cost and timing objectives. 


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

•    Work on projects and work streams; from scoping to delivery and including cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management ensuring project delivery to required timescale, quality and cost


•    Work with the operational business to understand current processes and to document and prioritise requirements for changes and additions


•    Work with the operational business on where step changes can be introduced and included in the project


•    Management of required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk and issue management


•    Support adherence to Operational Acceptance processes, with smooth project transition to Service Delivery 


•    Use lean project management principles in order to develop more effective and efficient ways of working


•    Undertake and support scenario planning as required 


•    Manage stakeholders to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations


•    Track and measure all live resource projects and report Project metrics to senior management and the area


•    Use wider business experience to guide and help others to identify potential alternative solutions to problems occurring on their projects


•    Previous experience in a similar role in Project Management with track record of delivery 


•    Methodical detailed approach to work context


•    Analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base


•    Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience 


•    Experience of Problem Resolution using structured approaches


•    Ability to manage risks and issues


•    Negotiation and adaptability skills 


•    Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred


•    An individual, who works independently, is results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment. 


•    An individual with the capability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with medium term planning


•    A resilient and enthusiastic who responds constructively to new ideas and inputs


•    A good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas


•    A effective team player, actively develops and supports team members
