The Propulsion Software Integration team is expanding to create the next generation of modern luxury vehicles.  Our mission is to continuously align and lead on software integration and feature ramp up of our propulsion control systems.  


This Controls Integration Test Lead will get to form part of this team leading the continuous verification and delivery of an integrated Propulsion control system.   


You’ll get to work with industry leading / cutting edge technology and be part of a diverse and inclusive, well-defined team structure that operate in an agile environment to aid rapid delivery of  innovation for our customers.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


This role will lead on the coordination of the feature, function and platform service content to deliver cutting edge technology.  You’ll provide the transparency and prioritisation between the vehicle teams; engineering teams and the propulsion software teams to ensure seamless functionality across the vehicle.  


  • Regular review of system requirements and application of failure mode avoidance principles
  • Ensuring sufficient test case coverage for system verification on vehicles and multi-ECU HIL rigs
  • Integration point testing is planned and delivered on a regular basis to ensure robust and up to date software is always available.
  • Support issue investigations with software teams and suppliers ensuring the use of structured problem-solving techniques
  • Capture best practice and lessons learned in process and tool chain improvements




  • A technical background in software controls or system integration
  • Experience of software system issue investigation and root cause analysis (8D, DMAIC)
  • Experience of project management and system engineering principles
  • Comfortable working with various stakeholders; interact / engage with others
