As a Battery Process Engineer, you'll play a key role in transforming cutting-edge battery designs into world-class manufacturing solutions. Working closely with Product Development teams and suppliers, you'll help deliver new facilities, processes and technologies that support our electrification journey. WHAT TO EXPECT

You'll be part of a collaborative Manufacturing Engineering team responsible for developing and launching battery frame assembly processes. From facility design through to production readiness, you'll help ensure our manufacturing operations deliver exceptional levels of quality, efficiency and performance.

• Leading the planning and execution of manufacturing facility and process design activities alongside suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Generating manufacturing process strategies and supporting the successful delivery of battery assembly programmes from concept through to launch
• Driving process capability, quality planning and continuous improvement across assembly operations
• Managing technical issues, resolving manufacturing challenges and supporting the delivery of programme milestones
• Collaborating with Product Engineering, Quality, Launch, Programme and Plant Operations teams to achieve shared objectives

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills and experiences that you'll need to help you succeed here, including:

• Demonstrating experience of delivering industrialised manufacturing processes and facilities within a production or engineering environment
• Applying knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes, tools and techniques, with experience of taking a process through launch
• Delivering end-to-end project management activities, balancing timelines, quality and operational requirements
• Holding a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or bringing equivalent practical experience
• Building effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams and supplier networks while remaining calm and focused in complex environments
