As a Battery Production Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering operational excellence within a highly automated manufacturing environment. You’ll guide a skilled team, combining engineering expertise with a data driven mindset to maximise uptime and continuous improvement. WHAT TO EXPECT


Working at the heart of advanced battery/electrification production, you’ll balance hands on leadership with strategic planning. You’ll collaborate widely across operations and support functions, ensuring performance, safety and quality standards are consistently achieved. Here’s what to expect:

 

  • Leading and developing maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Delivering equipment uptime by managing breakdown response and ensuring safe, efficient fault resolution
  • Creating and managing planned preventative maintenance programmes to optimise performance and reliability
  • Partnering with cross functional teams to achieve quality and volume targets while improving operational performance
  • Driving environmental and health and safety initiatives, supporting sustainable and responsible manufacturing


WHAT YOU’LL NEED


Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to help you succeed here, including:

 

  • Demonstrating experience managing maintenance teams within a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Applying strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge, ideally within automated production settings
  • Using logical problem solving techniques to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Understanding health and safety, quality systems and environmental practices within industrial environments
  • Holding a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
