It’s a role that will challenge you, grow your experience, and allow you to do things differently.

  • Leading the planning, development and delivery of new and retooled machining facilities from concept through to stable production
  • Managing and developing a small team while guiding technical problem solving and supporting performance improvements
  • Driving continuous improvement across high-volume CNC machining processes to enhance quality, efficiency and cost performance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and robust manufacturing solutions
  • Leading structured problem solving, process validation and quality activities including PFMEA and control plans

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to embrace change and push boundaries, there are several skills and experiences you’ll need to succeed here, including:

  • Demonstrating strong experience in automotive machining, including engine components and high-volume CNC manufacturing processes
  • Applying in-depth knowledge of precision machining techniques and GD&T within tight-tolerance environments
  • Using quality and manufacturing tools such as IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP and FMEA to deliver robust processes
  • Bringing proven project management experience and the ability to analyse and improve manufacturing performance
  • Holding a degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with the ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders effectively
