The Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC) is a brand new, state of the art facility producing the next generation of propulsion systems for future JLR vehicles. Delivering world class, premium products, EPMC is central to JLR’s electrification journey.

As Senior Process Leader, you’ll be a key operations leader for EDU technologies, managing Process Leaders, Team Leaders and production associates. You’ll drive performance, teamwork and continuous improvement, acting as a role model for Creators Code behaviours and leading the SQDCPE agenda across your area.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • You will own shift performance reporting, monitor live operational delivery and take decisive action to protect SQDCPE targets while ensuring safe, on time, right first time production.
  • You will lead, coach and develop Process and Team Leaders, providing visible shop floor leadership to support Launch, Run at Rate and the delivery of safety, quality and productivity objectives.
  • You will drive robust problem solving, cost control and quality improvement, champion continuous improvement and constraint management, and ensure full compliance with GMS, QOS and Safety Operating Systems across all production phases.
  • You will implement company policies relating to workforce, pay and benefits with consistency, accuracy and compliance.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • Proven leadership experience in high volume or complex manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of production processes, safety systems and operational performance management
  • Excellent problem solving and data driven decision making capability
  • Experience in manpower planning, team development and shift based operations
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. IPS, PDCA, CCAR)
