Propulsion Manufacturing Operations sits at the heart of JLR’s electrification journey. As we build our next generation Electrified Powertrain capability, this team leads the planning and execution of all new propulsion launch programmes across the UK and our global footprint.

This role offers a rare opportunity to play a key part in the end to end transformation and launch of our propulsion facilities.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You’ll work across a wide range of business functions, applying and developing your skills in strategic planning, transformation and delivery as we bring new products to life. Some of those responsibilities will ask you to:

• Lead the strategic transformation of Propulsion Manufacturing Operations, shaping long term direction aligned to JLR strategy
• Own manufacturing deliverables and KPIs, including Budget, MCPU, Opex, resources and launch rate of climb
• Manage cycle, timing and transformation plans to ensure successful industrialisation of future propulsion programmes
• Plan, execute and govern all manufacturing launch activities, ensuring adherence to the Launch Quality Operating System
• Influence and align cross functional teams, presenting programme status at key governance forums and driving informed decision making
• Influence cross functional teams to define and deliver the long term strategic direction of propulsion facilities

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with the ambition to deliver exceptional results, you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in strategy planning and execution
• Experience working within a new product launch environment
• A strong track record of leading cross functional transformation initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes
• Experience in data and cost analysis, KPI development, structured problem solving and plan delivery against clear objectives
