JOB TITLE: Payroll Administrator

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As the Payroll Administrator you’ll work as part of a large team processing Payroll efficiently and accurately, covering a variety of monthly and weekly payrolls for circa 35,000 UK employees.

 

You’ll need to build and develop excellent working relationships, and work with the wider payroll team to participate with projects, process improvements, and support in driving the business strategies forward.

 

Your responsibilities in this role are to perform manual payroll and pension calculations, process weekly and monthly payroll ensuring successful BACS submission, manage and process ‘Early Year Updates’, and have a thorough understanding of all aspects of Jaguar Land Rover payroll from start to finish.

 

You’ll also need to keep up to date with current and future legislation, complete and submit monthly PAYE, resolve queries, support in the deployment of Resource Link and Kronos time capture applications, and support with all year end requirements.

 

Finally, you’ll support the Payroll Team Leader with on-boarding and proactively identify changes to Payroll processes.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As the Payroll Administrator you’ll need to have experience of working in a large multi-site Payroll department, with working knowledge of Resource Link.

 

Excellent organisational skills and customer service skills are essential in this role, as you’ll be working with the wider team building and developing key relationships with stakeholders.

 

You’ll also be a team player and work well under pressure, being able to meet strict deadlines.
