JOB TITLE: Digital Workplace Support Engineer

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As the Digital Workplace Support Engineer you’ll play a fundamental part in the delivery of critical services to JLR colleagues, contributing significantly to the future strategy of Digital Workplace and End User Services at JLR, with a specific focus on ensuring that the services delivered meets the businesses high expectations.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities to include:

 

•    Provide specialised 2nd and 3rd Line Technical PC, Hardware and O365 Productivity Suite Support for key/critical users to strict service levels & across different shifts and sites.
•    Provide support for Unified Comms, Meeting Technologies and Meeting Room services, including testing, monitoring and break/fix. 
•    Support Digital Workplace tools development, including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft PowerApps Platform. Ability to impact assess and implement changes in a DevOps environment.
•    Support and implement a wide range of IT Digital Workplace technologies and feed into future strategy roadmaps.
•    Analyse and report data points including Asset Management and Tracking, Productivity suite data, Productivity Score, Teams CQD analysis, User data and Supplier Service Quality assurance.
•    Implement a Digital Workplace Cost and Contract management plan, from small order management to key contracts and service renewals. 
•    Support DWP Continual Service Improvement objectives.
•    Maintaining and grow relationships across immediate team, suppliers, wider IT organisation and business domains.
•    Evaluate and provide feedback on available and emerging technologies to determine the potential impacts and business value. 
•    Provide Digital Workplace IT Project administration support.
•    Contribute to the management of supplier commercials and services, where external suppliers are used to deliver services. 
•    Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Applications are welcomed from bright, energetic individuals who are highly experienced in delivering IT End User technical support. You’ll have expert knowledge in Microsoft O365, Windows 7/10, Active Directory, Azure, SCCM, InTune and SharePoint. 

 

An individual who has excellent analytical and problem solving skills coupled with IT Finance and ITIL Service Management experience. 

 

Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred.
