As the New Model Programme Planner, you’ll join Global Customer Care Parts Supply Chain. Within this team. Parts Product Management and New Model Supply Chain is responsible for securing availability of parts for vehicle launch by determining the product range, planning the end-to-end sequence and timing of events, risk assessing and preparing the supply base before obtaining the material and managing distribution globally.

 

The New Model Programme Planner is responsible for the governance of this process, gathering inputs from process participants, assessing RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status of programmes, and communicating status to stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation of the process to achieve Stock in Bin objectives.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a new challenge, and provides great exposure across a wide range of internal stakeholders.

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for ensuring all New Models programmes are initiated, planned and communicated to all aftermarket stakeholders with clear and detailed timing plans via Programme Summaries
  • Analyse and evaluate Cycle Plans and Programme Direction Letter (PDL’s) to understand and communicate impact to the Aftermarket Supply Chain
  • Create Timing Plans in-line with specified outlined process timings
  • Act as the interface between New Model Aftermarket stakeholders to facilitate and resolve programme-related issues
  • Ensure dashboards are maintained by setting applicable RAG status to programmes and then communicate status to internal and external stakeholders on a weekly basis
  • Ensure accurate New Model performance statuses are developed, communicated and presented in various launch forums and New Model Deck Reviews.
  • Chair Programme Review meetings when required  
  • Monitor and measure stakeholder deliverables, capturing risk and recovery actions where necessary, to achieve 90% stock in bin (SIB) at vehicle launch
  • Conduct Lessons Learnt activities with stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement actions

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As the New Model Programme Planner, you’ll require experience of programme and project management capabilities. Ideally you will have experience planning within MP&L project management or manufacturing supply chain environments and be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.

 

You’ll also need the following:

  • Strong analytical & IT skills
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Results orientated with a determination to make things happen, highly motivated, energetic, and pro-active; also have the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Excel advance level with the ability to understand, create and maintain complex data analysis reports
