WHAT TO EXPECT

This role sits within Global Mobility and will be responsible for working with the recruitment teams to ensure compliance under our sponsorship licence.  As our business continues to hire skills outside of the UK, ensuring the recruitment teams understand legislative changes and that our processes and compliance files reflect this will be critical

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Ensure the business is compliant with UK immigration rules and all UK compliance processes across various teams are documented and kept up to date

Auditing the work of the recruitment teams, providing suggestions on process improvements and ensure records are maintained correctly for all UK hires in line with obligations under the sponsorship licence

Keep up to date with changes in UK immigration legislation and how this impacts JLR, ensuring the relevant teams understand the changes 

Support the business with immigration advice and planning.  Manage escalations appropriately. 

Ensure JLR are fulfilling our Right to Work obligations 

 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
 

  • Experience and knowledge of working in mobility and extensive knowledge of the UK immigration system.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across different businesses and levels
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholders 
  • Proven Project Management experience using Project Management techniques e.g. Project Planning, Risk Management etc.  
  • Strong analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
  • Ability to deliver results consistently in a fast paced environment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
