WHAT TO EXPECT
Event Vehicle Operations has an opening for an enthusiastic, capable, and experienced Scheduling Analyst with excellent attention to detail who will create, optimise, and maintain the work schedule within a defined Scheduling software application to ensure high profile vehicles achieve their customer deadline dates. The role is operations based and will require you to be based in the office at the facility at Fen End
The Department provides a comprehensive External Events service globally & manages vehicle fleets for internal customers e.g., Press; UK NSC, Photographic, Launch Fleets, and prepares vehicles to the highest cosmetic standards for all major Motor Shows.
Key Performance Indicators
• Safety – Hazard tracking
• Quality – FTT (First Time Through) & RFT (Right First Time)
• Delivery –Vehicle lateness, labour utilisation, Capacity planning
• Cost – Kaizen identification and implementation
• People – Growth plans
• Environment – 5S results
• Yearly objectives based on the EVO score card and personal growth plans
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Workload Planning
• Implementation of the customer requirements into plans / work schedules in the Orchestrate system, working with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust schedule to meet business processes and customer requirements
• Programme planning meetings including programme are we ready Events to ensure robust works schedule is in place and maintained
• Daily Operations status meetings and actionable Scheduling requests.
• Assist in the reporting of key programme metrics as defined by the area
• Scenario planning creation, analysis, and presentation of programme plan feasibility.
Labour and resource planning
• Help in the creation of load & capacity charts for EVO
• Support of new workshop layout & resource requirements to ensure a robust schedule is maintained
Vehicle preparation process governance
• Champion Daily schedule change management through amendments & date changes
• Co Ordinate programme process creation in collaboration with Programme & planning team requirements.
Corporate / Local requirements
• Maintain H&S and wellbeing requirements through general awareness and compliance requirements of hazards, incidents, and accidents.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
● Experience in Administration of scheduling systems
● Experience in Microsoft Office applications power point, Word etc
● High level of competence in Excel,
● Understanding of Power App’s & Queries
● Degree in Analytics or equivalent
● Experience in Project Management (Prince 2 or equivalent)
Desirable:
● Experience of metrics and reporting
● Lean philosophy
