The Digital Engineering Capability (DEC) team is responsible for the selection, development and support of all the Engineering tools (e.g. Computer Aided Design, Computer Aided Engineering, Systems Engineering). We are currently embarked on a major toolset modernisation programme that will transform the way in which we engineer our vehicles, and we are looking for talented individuals who can help us to accelerate this transformation.


We use agile development methodologies as the operating model for our department. In this role you will be joining our Solution Architects and will be working closely with your teammates and customers to deliver working capability at pace.


Key accountabilities and responsibilities:


•    Participate in planning, definition and high-level design of the solution and exploration of system alternatives
•    Define high level solutions and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context
•    Work closely with the IT Enterprise architect to agree on solutions that are consistent with the enterprise
•    Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, and the solution intent information models and documentations requirements
•    Perform system options analysis and product selection with particular focus on Total Cost of Ownership 
•    Establish critical non-functional requirements for the solutions
•    Plan and develop the architectural runway in conjunction with the Capability Roadmaps
•    Work closely with Solution Managers to determine the Capability Roadmaps and any necessary business process transformation.
•    Maintain the principles of OOTB, BSF Code, Best Practice aligned with Baseline Security
•    Work with Solution Management to determine the capacity allocation for enablement work
•    Provide oversight and foster built-in quality promoting team and technical agility
•    Evaluate and provide feedback on available and emerging technologies to determine the potential impacts and business value



•    A sound knowledge of Dassault & Atlassian access control, security, roles & data security classification
•    Understanding of Configuration Management 
•    Extensive understanding of both Physical and Software design from requirements to process allocation
•    Experience of Data Modelling, conceptual, logical and physical.
•    Demonstrable evidence of agile requirements definition supporting continuous delivery, avoiding traditional waterfall development approach
•    Comprehensive experience of delivering solutions in Dassault 3D Experience and Atlassian toolsets
•    Experience with modelling in SysML preferably in Catia Magic (NoMagic) and  System Modelleing (UML) 
•    Knowledge of data migration methodologies and practices
•    Demonstrable experience of working in Agile methodologies such and SAFE and LeSS
•    SQL, MQL, JQL, Webservices and Rest API’s
