The Opportunity

The Supply Chain Network Risk and Resilience team is part of the Supply Chain Innovation and Excellence team and works to define and drive areas of strategic focus for the Supply Chain Organisation and the enterprise, particularly on long term supply chain risks and resilience building measures.

 

Combining an in-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, supply chain risk identification and mitigation with a passion for leading transformative change, the team aims to deliver competitive advantage to Jaguar Land Rover through scanning for long term risks that could impact our enterprise and supply chain partners and devising strategies that will mitigate or minimise these.
    
As a Risk and Resilience Senior Analyst you will work cross functionally to identify long terms risks that could impact our end-to-end value chain. The team will shape and deliver strategies to minimise and mitigate risk whilst building resilience, as well as delivering the change initiatives to drive transformation in in our business processes, tools and governance to enable this.

From the outset, you will have a high level of responsibility to shape, define and drive the future of all stages of the value chain for the business and our customers.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
•    Represent the Supply Chain organisation in long term network risk and resilience workstreams. 
•    Innovation scanning and benchmarking along with academic partnering to access insight in world class risk detection and resilience building
•    Work cross functionally in the development of network resilience strategies, continuity plans and scenario playbooks for long term risks identified
•    Support transformation sprints to deliver target operating model for risk and resilience for the enterprise 
•    Facilitate the development and use of intelligent scenario modeling to understand long term risk exposure and recommend supply chain changes to deliver supply chain resilience
•    Support the supply chain mapping and transparency workstream, working closely with the Supply Chain Transformation Office to define the requirements of a digital solution for mapping Jaguar Land Rover value streams to T.N to support sustainability and network resilience needs
•    Support business wide strategy projects (On topics such as Design for Manufacture and Build to Sequence Stability) to drive continuous improvement in end-to-end major value stream processes and systems to realise efficiencies within the supply chain 
•    Scanning, identification and thought leaderships on emerging trends and technologies that can be leveraged by the Supply Chain organisation
•    Stakeholder engagement and influencing across all levels of the organisation 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED


Knowledge, Skills and Experience 
Essential:
•    Knowledge and experience of key Supply Chain issues and challenges including globalisation, product and process digitisation, drivers of supply chain risk, supply chain strategy development to build resilience.
•    Strong appreciation for changing policy, technology and socio-economic macro trends that could impact JLR’s global supply chain.
•    Experience of change management and delivering transformational change projects for process, systems and people
•    Has the tenacity, drive and perseverance, to create and deliver strategies in a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment 
•    Disciplined in planning and managing interactions with internal partners and suppliers in order to maximize the value of those interactions and relationships 
•    A strong communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders to influence cross-functional alignment 
•    Degree qualified or equivalent experience
