Our Battery Team is expanding quickly, focusing on the increasing integration of BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) technologies in our cycle plan. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our Battery Systems Advanced Concepts & Research Pillar. This role will be instrumental in implementing integration solutions to meet component functional targets.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

As a Senior Systems Integration Engineer, you will:

• Develop BEV Battery Technology Roadmaps:  Lead the development of integration strategies to support JLR’s transition to electrification.

• Benchmark Analysis: Create and consolidate benchmark material from device to vehicle to enhance our understanding of competitor technologies and the latest industry trends.

• Collaborate with Engineering Operations: Ensure that the necessary facilities and resources are in place to execute our technology roadmap effectively.

• Engage with Key Stakeholders: Work alongside business stakeholders to align integration solutions with vehicle product requirements.

• Drive Next-Generation Technologies: Develop and communicate a roadmap for next-generation battery technologies, including solid-state batteries and integration-to-car concepts.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Integration Expertise: Extensive experience in the multi-physics aspects of integration and battery design.

• Industry Experience:  Proven experience within the competitor integration and battery manufacturing sectors.

• Strategic Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts and strategic visions to cross-functional teams to drive a unified roadmap.

• Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing team focused on future integration and battery pack strategies.

• Relationship Management: Strong capability to manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Global BEV Knowledge: Deep understanding of the BEV integration and battery landscape, including the worldwide supply base and other OEM manufacturers, to inform credible and competitive strategies.
