WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As a Senior Programme Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the development optimised Supply Chains for future vehicle and powertrain programmes through developing business cases, conducting feasibility studies, defining, and managing programme CAPEX & OPEX spend. You will be responsible for ensuring key Supply Chain – New Product and Launch Planning deliverables and milestones are achieved on time and to Programme target(s).  Through close collaboration and stakeholder engagement, Influence future Supply Chain operations, competitive cost structure and E2E Supply Chain strategy.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

•    Lead the development of vehicle and powertrain programmes for Supply Chain – New Product and Launch Planning by developing business cases, conducting feasibility studies, providing supply chain costs, and solutions for future models / facilities. 
•    Ensure key Supply Chain deliverables and milestones are achieved on-time and to target aligned to Product Creation and Delivery System (PCDS), relevant Jaguar Landrover Quality Operating Systems (QOS), and support of Commodity Creation and Delivery System (CCDS).
•    Lead cross functional stakeholder engagement within the Vehicle Line Director (VLD) organisation and Life Cycle Chief peer reviews for Supply Chain activities, ensuring requirements and impacts are included in all key milestone decisions.
•    Identify and drive complexity and commodity reduction activities driving competitive cost opportunities through data analytics and strategic programme actions. 
•    Ensure Supply Chain costs, requirements and solutions are identified and work with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering and Purchasing to enable total cost engineering, ownership and sourcing decisions incorporate E2E Supply Chain principles and Total Delivered Cost solutions.
•    Ability to apply detailed Problem-solving techniques and structured approach to issues management from identification, through to robust containment and root cause (Permanent Corrective Action).
•    Document and action programme lessons learnt for Supply Chain, including Design for Logistics (DfL) and Continuous Improvement (IGNITE / kaizen) workstreams.
•    Deliver projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outcomes to support the Supply Chain strategic business objectives.
•    Robust management of Programme Governance activity, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting, risk and issue management, and Project KPI’s (metrics) to senior management and stakeholders.
•    Application of AGILE project management processes and supply chain principles in order to develop more effective and efficient E2E Supply Chain Solutions.
•    Lead Supply Chain elements of Vertical Integration (‘make vs buy’) and Future Global Footprint (FGF) studies and/or activity. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED


Knowledge, Skills and Experience
•    Previous experience in a similar role within supply chain logistics with a track record of delivery. 
•    Methodical detailed approach to work context using project management tools and techniques.
•    Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and evidence, and provide recommendations and/or required interventions to support activities.
•    Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to influence and lead colleagues at varying levels within the organisation to ensure the delivery of our premium products on time.
•    Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite with a greater emphasis on experience of using Excel to provide timely and accurate data to the business.
•    Experience of Problem Resolution using structured approaches.
•    Ability to manage risks and issues.
•    Negotiation and adaptability skills.
•    Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
•    Have the ability to travel between sites regularly.
