JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Project Analyst
SALARY: £33,064 - £38,000

WHAT TO EXPECT

The successful candidate will be joining a team that sits at the forefront of vehicle conception and programme delivery. The Supply Chain Strategy team works within the Vehicle Programme group to design and deliver an optimised end to end supply chain solution. This activity includes :


•    Initial packaging concepts that minimise m3 to be moved
•    Freight impact of sourcing locations, including environmental impacts
•    Understanding the number of parts to be handled with the developing Bill of Materials 
•    Tracking changes in assumptions that influence costs
•    Identifying opportunities to optimise supply chain 
•    Supporting various business study assessments including Make v Buy studies and the effect of proposed engineering and design changes
•    Measure Programme Success through defined deliverables and milestones
•    Project Budget management working with multiple stakeholders to forecast and track costs
 
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
 
Essential:
•   Previous experience in a relevant Supply Chain  background.
•    Methodical & detailed approach to work using project management tools and techniques.
•   Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data, using available data analysis tools
•   Able to communicate effectively
•   Have the ability to travel between sites regularly.
 
Desirable: 
•    Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
•    Experience of cross functional stakeholder engagement.
•    Commercial awareness.
