Position:  Digital Transformation Intern (3 openings)

Details of the program:

  • The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or Master's program
  • The Internship is for June 10, 2024 to May 23, 2025
  • 29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Hybrid Schedule available
  • Paid internship - $18/hour


What you will be doing:


Jaguar Land Rover is undergoing a journey of digital transformation. As part of our Reimagine strategy, JLR is striving to create customer-centric, seamless omnichannel experiences for our customers, based on digital insights and modern media behaviors. In this endeavor we have established robust partnerships with several digital media and analytics partners who will help us build digital products and processes that will transform the way we interact with our customers. We have invited these digital partners to co-create a “super internship” program like no other – offering an opportunity for students to learn how an evolving digital ecosystem brings incredible brand experiences to life.


The Digital Transformation intern will serve as a Business Analyst for the newly formed Transformation & Digital Demand department, spending the first several months of the program immersed in training with our digital media tools and partners. The intern will be responsible for translating learnings from the training period to insights, reports, and fresh ideas for our Digital Transformation projects. By the end of this “super internship,” the business analysts will have gained subject matter expertise and formal certifications in a broad portfolio of major digital media and analytics tools, as well as practical experience leveraging them in an evolving business strategy for two of the world’s most powerful automotive brands.


Example Digital Transformation Projects:

  • Developing detailed and robust customer journey maps
  • Creating a more seamless online/offline experience for customers and retailers
  • Targeting and displaying more relevant and effective advertising to shoppers and owners
  • Designing improvements to owner mobile apps
  • Evolving our data analytics strategy to improve customer marketing and commercial operations
  • “Blue sky” innovation projects to be imagined together 
  • Writing memos, training content, and other communications pieces to support Change Management efforts throughout the organization

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in progress (Junior or Senior), or pursuing a graduate studies degree during 2024/2025
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to learn more about business strategy
  • Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with additional Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Visio, etc.) is preferred, but not required
  • High level of professionalism
  • Detailed orientated, self starter, strong work ethic, team player, ability to build to build rapport and communicate confidently; 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills
