Director, Digital and Performance Marketing

As the Director, Digital and Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing media, website, and performance marketing strategies that build the brands and drive overall sales traffic, leads, and revenue. You will lead a team of media and website marketing professionals and will work closely with  the overall Marketing team and Sales Operations to ensure that marketing initiatives align with overall business goals. The ideal candidate is a data-driven commercial leader who can develop and implement effective campaigns across various channels, including linear TV, paid search, display advertising, social media, email, and SEO, and lead a future-facing digital online customer journey. As head of Performance Marketing, you will instill a culture and process of ongoing continuous improvement, supported by detailed sales and marketing analytics, to most effectively and efficiently drive critical business results. 


What you will be doing:

  • Developing and execute a comprehensive media, website, and performance marketing strategy that supports business goals.
  • Leading the tracking and maximization of each step of the customer funnel and shopping journey.
  • Managing a $100mm+ budget for national and locally targeted media (all channels including OOH, Linear, Paid Social, Search and local retargeting) and digital marketing campaigns, and ensure ROI goals are met. 
  • Managing and mentor a team of media and marketing professionals.
  • Collaborating closely with the Marketing Communications and Brand Activation teams to ensure a cohesive integrated Marketing approach, aligned from the brand level to the weekly sales level. 
  • Collaborating closely with the sales department to align marketing initiatives with lead generation and revenue goals on a national and market level, and a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Managing the national brand websites to best support the brand goals, customer journey and business performance. Drive continuous improvement via ongoing testing and optimization. Manage the websites through the company’s transformation to a modern luxury purchase experience with greater focus on e-commerce.  
  • Running a Performance Marketing process which leads, analyzes, tracks and reports on all marketing performance metrics to continuously improve marketing campaigns, with an emphasis on the websites and media targeting, but also including other marketing elements such as creative assets, web copy, email campaigns, and social media posts. 
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, and provide recommendations for implementing new strategies
  • Managing on behalf of the marketing department the quarterly and annual business planning and budgeting process. 
  • Liasing with global counterparts to report and advocate on behalf of North American performance marketing resource and budget.
  • Joining with CMO and VP/Comms as cultivators and leaders of a world class marketing organization, and as part of the larger JLRNA Senior Leadership Committee. Actively contribute to a positive company culture and employee engagement and morale.  
  • Performing other duties as required


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, related field or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, sales optimization, or marketing analytics.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful media and digital marketing operations and campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience managing a team of marketing professionals.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly with senior leaders and retailers.
  • Ability to develop and lead a digital shopping journey optimization process.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive/luxury brand marketing space as well as digital shopping journey strongly preferred.

Location:  Mawhah, NJ 

Schedule:  Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)
