What you will be doing:

Day-to-day contact for media agency for new Performance Marketing Center of Excellence within greater JLR Marketing Communications team

Develop Audience Target Requirements with inputs from Product Planning, Research and Global Marketing

Work with agencies and Brand Communications leads to develop Media strategy
-
Leverage Global Inputs, Brand Pillars and Business Goals to develop local Media Briefs
-
Review Media RFPs; Narrow Submissions with Media Agencies to present internally

Manage media approval process internally well ahead of media live dates

Ensure coordination between Creative, Media Agency and Media Partners

Ensure media buys are executed according to strategy and key principles re TRP levels, flighting, stations/networks, programming fit

Media Budget management and reconciliation/Ensure purchase requisitions and orders are managed timely

Develop test and learn scenarios for media tactics, audience cohorts & creative assets; share concepts and report learnings and potential cross functional application to larger performance group

Analyse campaign outputs and direct/indirect effects on business outcome

Support key marketing communications objectives as they relate to role, specifically:

Utilize effective Media Strategy to maintain healthy demand signals throughout the shopping journey for all product offerings

Drive & optimize website traffic and engagement through paid media
-
Generate Shoppers, Handraisers & Leads; optimize conversion rates for each
-
Help ensure media impact with improvement in brand appeal, consideration and intent
-
Develop Media plans inclusive of National and local approach; with attention to all stages of the purchase funnel

Evaluate Research Partner Outputs & TV audits, utilize findings to optimize approach; present findings to Performance Team

Perform other duties as required

What you will need:
-
Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Communications preferred; MBA in Marketing a plus; or equivalent work experience
-
5-7 years of experience in media planning & buying, budget management and media communications planning.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Tableau
-
Must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
-
Automotive experience is preferred
-
Potential for light travel

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, and must be comfortable presenting to all levels of management;

Must have strong business acumen, and the ability to work with people at varying levels with the organization and network
Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)
