What you will be doing:

• Own, define, and ensure implementation of detailed security architectures that ensure Jaguar Land Rover products and features are secure by design 
• Implement risk management and governance throughout the product lifecycle to ensure that Jaguar Land Rover maintains an adequate balance of security risk 
• Work closely with all parts of our software development organization to promote a DevSecOps-aligned security assurance testing strategy to ensure that Jaguar Land Rover products are secure when deployed and operated 
• Remove impediments for the successful delivery of security-related solutions 
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and cross-geographical teams to create, improve, and ensure compliance with Jaguar Land Rover cyber security policies and practices 
• Work cross functionally with global cybersecurity colleagues to ensure alignment of security processes and tooling 
• Ensure alignment with corporate and legal requirements for security and privacy 

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 
• 5+ years experience of professional software security experience working with development teams in architecture design, delivery, or risk and compliance 
• Deep technical knowledge on security and networking, solutions and technologies for cloud, on premise, and IoT 
• Experience of defining security processes and procedures taking a practical risk- based approach  
• Experience with working across organizational silos and breaking down barriers to successful security practice adoption 
• Experience working with Agile development teams  
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  
• Experience in the software development industry; additional experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus
