The Digital Assets Group (DAG) forms part of the Brand Operations area within the Jaguar Land Rover Customer Experience Commercial function. It is the centre of excellence for the creation of external customer facing CGI assets and digital media, operating on-site at Jaguar Land Rover UK. The team is responsible for the creation and delivery of 3d Model data and CGI still imagery required by Commercial to support customer communications material.

This role works as part of the Digital Assets Model Production team to generate high quality fully configurable 3D visualisation models, representative of Jaguar Land Rover products to support a variety of internal and external customer facing CGI content creation use cases, all produced and compliant with Digital Assets technical processes and standards. The primary focus is successful delivery of modelled content to cater for Commercial, Marketing Sales and Services and cross-functional customer facing use cases.

Key features of the role include 3D scene management, CAD data optimization and preparation, UV implementation, material/shader application, feature code configuration and market dependency logic.

There will be scope to maintain and adapt internal processes to improve efficiency and quality of models delivered by the department.




You will collaborate with Production Supervisor and Senior Lead on production scheduling and delivery timings and support production sub-team with detailed knowledge of Digital Assets Model Production Standards and Processes as well as technical understanding of CGI modelling techniques and utilisation of associated software packages. 

You will consume build inputs to generate imagery content according to Digital Assets Standards and utilise Product Data Model Build Specification document to ensure completed scope of work is actioned and tracked accordingly.

You will be responsible for the capture of any issues discovered with relation the production inputs and communicate to Supplier Production Supervisor via appropriate escalation routes / meetings / documents and be accountable and ensure optimal quality of own work produced, as well as constructively critique modelled content created by others in the production team.

You'll be responsible for identifying areas to develop of Digital Assets processes and standards through continuous improvement in collaboration with the Digital Assets Model Production team and ensure that all production work is stored and managed in accordance to Digital Assets production standards.

Take responsibility for the status / order of all production folder directories utilised during production activities. You will also undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.




You'll have extensive experience in Automotive CGI production, be an expert in Autodesk Maya, Deltagen (or equivalent) and Adobe Creative Suite, and have great exposure to data / file management, scene structuring and configuration. You also have have experience in working to defined processes and technical standards (pipeline) and knowledge of MS Office365 – Excel in particular. A relevant degree or equivalent experience would be preferred.



  • Previous experience working with / for Automotive OEMs
  • Experience working with games engine software and technology as part of a production activity (games industry or similar)
  • Good Knowledge of Python and MEL Script
  • Experience using Foundry Nuke
