WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We are currently hiring for an Emissions Systems Integration Engineer to join the Calibration and Controls team here at Jaguar Land Rover. The successful candidate will be working on a broad range of projects across all levels of electrical architecture, including Micro Hybrid Electric Vehicles (MHEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV). Daily responsibilities include testing to support calibration work package delivery, managing test operations, and liaising with customers, Lead Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts in order to develop and deliver a test plan in order to generate their needs.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Review testing requirements with customers.

  • Develop test plan to deliver requirements.

  • Support lead and SME’s in the validation of calibration proposals.

  • Support lead and SME’s in the generation of validation packs.

  • Planning vehicle testing and incorporating into high level test request capture.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

In order to be considered for this position you will need to have considerable experience in Calibration Engineering as well as with the use of Calibration tools, such as INCA, Concerto, etc. We are also looking for someone who has experience working on Petrol/Gasoline Passenger car calibration rather than Diesel. Having a strong working knowledge of whole vehicle, powertrain systems, and systems integration will also be beneficial along with:

 

  • Experience working with Combustion Calibration, and Control and Systems/Hardware.

  • Knowledge of and experience working with Calibration Tools.

  • Experience working on Gasoline/Petrol cars
