The Opportunity
The Programme Planner (PP) is responsible for Programme transactions within the SVO Coc Module Teams, meeting all defined targets and attributes (Technical and Commercial – Cost, Quality & Time). Responsible for execution of Module related deliverables on programmes and reporting on status at relevant gateways.
As a point of contact for specific Module issues on programmes, the PP will act as a key interface between the SVO teams, as well as facilitating cross department discussions and problem resolution.

o Cost & Technical compatibility
o Robust gateway delivery
o Assist the delivery of credible cross functional launch plans that meet the requirements of the markets and are fully integrated into the production operations site strategies.
o Programme Launch Quality:
Part Submission Warrant [PSW], PSW 95% at J1.
Fleet Management Survey [FMS] issues closure.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Programme specific coordination of all activities to ensure reliable delivery of the Module targets across the Module functions and ensure transparent communication and escalation through the Module team as required.
• Facilitate cross-functional interactions where required, support and reinforce module team working ethos.
• Cascade forward planning metrics to Lead Engineers and achieve alignment across the Module on delivery commitments.
• Assist with the weekly Module Meetings with the engineering team to share programme relevant information. Support engineers with creation and maintenance of vehicle test plans.
• Monitor, summarise & report out programme status against key metrics to deliver robust & accurate Module metrics as required, including supporting the creation and maintenance of the APQP and PSW delivery metrics and tasks.
• Support the engineering team at AIMs startup meetings, manage the delivery of all AIMS and escalate sev4 or RED to the relevant governance forums
• Accept and monitor the cascaded programme investment, vendor tooling, D&D, piece costs.
• Verify Product Description Letters (PDLs) & manage them into delivery, including confirmation that the programme specific resources are identified and in place

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
3 Key Skills:
1. Project Management - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, self- confidence and a 'passion for quality’.
2. Ability to support the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
3. A good working knowledge of PCDS, Change Control, Product Definition and Change Management processes are essential (Prior experience within JLR (or Ford)).
Other:
• Experience with tools such as MS Project, Sharepoint, able to produce synthetic information and scorecards
• UK Driving license or equivalent
• Experience of Problem Resolution using structured approaches
Desirable:
• Previous experience within engineering or programme planning departments
• Experience of building and managing multiple internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments
• Agile / Scrum Master experience

• Strong oral and written communication & IT skills
