Reimagine Jaguar (Business Strategy) UNDERGRADUATE

Joining the Reimagine Jaguar undergraduate programme, you’ll help us deliver the future strategy for the Jaguar brand. To make this happen, you could find yourself focusing on the brand direction, sales channels, services (including charging and mobility), experiences, digital and operations as well as strategy, transformation and business development.

Projects could include preparing content for senior reviews (up to board level), making presentations to senior stakeholders (up to director level), and strategic benchmarking of competitor activity. Other projects could include generating innovative ideas to feed into future strategy, working on the development and delivery of future products, services and business operations, and even supporting with prototype creation and testing. what you'll need

You will need to be on track to achieve, at least a 2.2 degree in any degree discipline. Degrees involving data analytics or a behavioural science or psychology component would be of particular interest.

Please note that our undergraduate placement opportunities are open only to penultimate-year students (those who will be returning to their final year of study after their placement with us). All our undergraduate programmes have a fixed start date, commencing 3 July 2023.

Your year in detail

INDUCTION - Begin with an induction into JLR in July 2023. You’ll get an overview of our business and future direction, get the chance to network, and meet key stakeholders, diversity & inclusion groups and more. Get more information about your undergraduate programme and learning curriculum, be exposed to our business and products and meet your programme delivery team.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT – Learn. Grow. Develop. Your programme will not only provide you with industry insights, you will also develop key skills including communication skills, self-management and personal effectiveness. Improve how you engage with stakeholders, enhance project management skills, and expand your ability to be innovative, influential and solve key-problems.

EXPERIENCE – Apply your learning to real-world business problems and tasks as part of your role. Undertake shadowing opportunities to broaden your knowledge of your business function and connect with new stakeholders. Don’t expect to be observing, you will lead change, deliver critical priorities and make an impact from the start.

The Undergraduate Programme allows for the freedom to explore roles within JLR, from shadowing for just a day to venturing on a placement and delving into a unique project over the course of several months. This breadth of experience has allowed an unparalleled expansion of my skillset and has broadened my knowledge of the internal workings of JLR, enabling me to realise and develop my strengths, ultimately finding the best career path for me.
